after change language font choices do not work properly

2.try change any font

This is a known issue with the font dialog when the font is a specialty font such as Segoe UI SemiBold.

The problem is that the font dialog is unable to select the "Segoe UI SemiBold" font in the font dialog.

I am not aware of any work around to this issue.

This seems to be a common problem with the Windows font select dialog in Delphi (Tested Delphi 4, Delphi 7, Rad Studio X3-X5)

lazarus completely support UTF-8

This issue has nothing to do with UTF-8.

The problem from what I have found during my research is that windows creates special font face names for extra styles and this allows everything to work for backwards compatibility, but something funky is going on with the font select dialog, I think I've come up with a work around though if you want to use the marked lists the semibold font is not a good font to use since there is no visible difference between bold and semibold.
