problem with different crc results

heya forum,

as seen in my sig, im using ioftpd with the kickass ioZS script from stardog :)
so, all scripts are running fine, but i just noticed some weird error. i have some mp3 files on the ftp, already checked by ioZS. ioZS says, that all files are ok and no crc error occured on any of the files. but when i now checked them manually (with hksfv) i'll get a crc error at one file. i just checked some random folders, and i got the error on 3 files from 3 different folders.

even if i rescan the files i'll get no crc error by ioZS.

so, either the error is ioZS related or hksfv makes some mistakes on verifing the crc cheksum. :confused:

does anyone has a clue about this issue?

it seems that i found a solution for that issue. k, not a real solution but i think i got behind the myst why i got the crc errors on some files:

first of all, when i create a sfv file with hksfv manually, i'll get the same checksum for the file as found in the original sfv file. but when i now check the new sfv file, i'll get the error again.

after i moved the files to another hdd, the crc error is gone. ;)

so it seems that the hdd has some errors and all files are crc ok ;)
