[REQ] Script that adds release to an IPB board

Hello all,

Id like a script that adds the release name to the database of an Invision Power Board. Id like to select to which forum it adds a new post to and from what section of the site. Could this be done?

When one thinks that ioFTPD web features are so heavily worked on, a site forum would indeed be a nice feature.

U just need to find one scripter who also think it's a good idea, and u'll get it.

Not that difficult in fact...
Simple way would be:
- itcl trigerred on MKD
- itcl calls a webpage giving the new dir name in parameter (using http package)
- webpage is php and inserts the dir name into the IPB or vBB mysql db, using the postthread code you'll find in your board files...
