View Full Version : [Filled] Hdd Stats
Hi im looking for an small script that creates Folders where you can see how much % of your HDDs are free...
As Example:
[ HARDDIKS D ] CURRENTLY 155GB/250GB Available that means ca 60%
so that it looks like that ( i know that 155Gb of 250 are not 60%)
TRUE

EDIT : done it ... output like this

get link at 1st post
Here is a suggestion if u want to make ur script more advanced?
i got these dirs in my ftp...
dir1
dir2
dir3
I can sure tell which dir is C,D,E but others might not. Why not make ur script show dirs free space, so instead of HARDDRIVE it shows your dirs like XviD, MP3 and so on. I would have more use of this then showing free harddrive space, but thats maybe just me.
[ dir1 ] CURRENTLY 2GB @ 37GB [ 5% FREE ]
[ dir2 ] CURRENTLY 2GB @ 75GB [ 3% FREE ]
[ dir3 ] CURRENTLY 2GB @ 37GB [ 5% FREE ]

heheh this its better ... gonna add it
EDIT : here ya go
..\games\[ GAMES ] CURRENTLY 66GB @ 74GB [ 88% FREE ]
..\divx\[ DiVX ] CURRENTLY 66GB @ 74GB [ 88% FREE ]
..\apps\[ APPS ] CURRENTLY 66GB @ 74GB [ 88% FREE ]
Here again and I got another suggestion.
To be able to merge 2 or more dirs and calculate the freespace and total space.
movie1/movie
movie2/movie
movie3/movie
[ movie ] CURRENTLY 2GB free of total 75GB [ 3% FREE ]
For archive purpose where dirs been merge togheter. Think about it.

Will this be in a future version, or is it me who doesn't understand how it works?

tried diffenr things to install it , but dont want to run
=======================================
i added this in : [Scheduler]
iofreeX = 1 0 * * EXEC c:\ioftp\scripts\ioFREE.exe
or
iofreeX = 1 0 * * EXEC c:\ioftp\scripts\ioFREE.exe
=======================================
but when i exec it manually it works perfectly
edit :
got the solution in iobanana
on_release_complete=start /B c:\ioftp\scripts\ioFREE.exe

[ HARDDISK B ] CURRENTLY 1047GB @ 1186GB [ 100% FREE ]
[ HARDDISK C ] CURRENTLY 1047GB @ 1186GB [ 100% FREE ]
etc..
Doesn't support higher than 1186GB by partition ?

"1047GB @ 1186GB [ 100% FREE ]" looks really strange...
looks like you cannot access more than 1Tbyte...
with a correctly working raid-controller/driver
ioFREE 1.1 is working perfectly up to 2Tbyte NTFS Partitions
(which is max. possible partition-size under Windows)
tested with 3WARE's Explanade SATA RAID 9500-12-series controller,
which never had any problems with 2Tbyte NTFS-drives.
(up to 3TByte are possible, but only under Linux)

Not cheap, but this baby is fast as hell ...and 100% stable !
