Alright, I've been trying to get this thing set up for almost a week now. All I want to do is make ioZS make the NewDay dirs at midnight local time, however it seems to like laughing in my face and pissing on my new shoes, because it refuses to do anything but not work.

My timezone: North America CST (GMT -6:00 - according to The Time/Date Properties Control Panel in Windows; yes I have it selected accordingly)

Now what I need to know is:
1) What do I set the scheduler entry to?
0 6 * *
0 -18 * *
0 -6 * *
0 18 * *

2) What do I set the TIMEOFFSET to in ioZS?

Now because these two are so closely related, please do NOT respond unless you can help me with both entries.

Thanks a bunch.

1) Since your timezone is GMT-6, you have to use:
0 6 * *
in your scheduler line for ioZS newday to call it at midnight localtime.

2) From ioZS readme:
"ioFTPD's scheduler is based on UTC time. If you wish to have ioNewDay run
at UTC time 00:00, and you are not in UTC timezone, then you can set the
TIMEOFFSET= option in the ini to make ioNewDay calculate the proper day.
ioNewDay is based on localtime."

So if I'm reading that correctly, Scheduler should be "0 6 * *" and TIMEOFFSET should be 0?

[EDIT] Yup, that's what it should be.

The TIMEOFFSET was for those that wanted to create the dated folders at midnight UTC, (scheduler set to 0 0), but their localtime was NOT UTC.
