I'm using ioftp beta5,
Some users claim to receive this message when try to connect,
the problem is that the have more slotsand i set up Hosts.Rules:

# POLICY ACCEPT CONNECTIONS_PER_IP

POLICY ACCEPT 4
# POLICY DENY

I can't use sitekill anymore since it return an error, is there a way to use it with ioftpd b5?

ioftpd version: beta5

operating system: windows xp

services affected: ftp, i don't use the others

how-to reproduce bug: When ppl enter have that problem often, even if they're not logged once.

additional notes: nothing is written to log

It could be ghost connections that fill up your users' connections. Possible solution for ghost connections: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

what's the ham solution? I'm having the same problem with my service. Seems there are ghost logins I can't get rid without shutting down the entire server. Reallly screws things up..

let me know how you fixed it.
