New license types

Two new license types are available on our registration page (http://www.ioftpd.com/register). It's possible to upgrade your current account, by sending 5€ to my paypal account.

The ideas behind this?
- To provide access to all (/most) ioftpd related resources with a single, one time fee.
- Gather money in a pool, which is donated to (s)elected scripter once pool gets over 50€.

Statistics for pool will be visible on the front page. This (http://www.ioftpd.com/members/check_donator.php?username=darkon3) can be used to check, if user has donated money.

Also, scripters who would like to distribute their scripts to users who bought one of those new license type can do so. Simply contact me to get 'scripter' status in ioftpd.com/members
You'll then have access to your own admin page to upload files and update donators db.

Mmm I think I gave 20EURO some months ago and I gave 20EURO for ioBanana and 20EURO for WarC...

Does that count? As in Total I donated already 60EURO (since I like the Program and the scripts).

Yes, it counts. Both harm & warc should have access to set proper flags for users in our database :)

Indeed, scripters will be able to flag any registered user as a Foundation Donator, which gives access to all posted scripts in the members' pages.

This means if you donated for ioB or to WarC, you should have access to all posted scripts (in the next couple of days, when the scripters update the donator list).

Pichento: You had access yesterday because Snype made an error and gave u access. But he checked and ur not a donator of him.

Talk to Harm so he can find you in his donator list and then mark u as a ioB donator.

MaistroX: The paypal account used for the transaction was made donator 3 days ago.

I find nothing offensive about my post. If you all intend to want to make alot of money off of this project, just sell the source codes to microsoft. How about fixing the bugs then trying to charge. No point in buying buggy scripts.

I do more in one week at work than I did developping ioB during 4 months!
And that's only because I had the most agressive donator politic. Other scripters made 0$ and worked thousands of hours to give good scripts to users like you!

I believe darkone is doing a great job, but i don't like big control freaks like you that think you can talk whatever way you want to people just because you gained a little power around here. go take a chill pill and relax. I think its ok to support scripters too.
And i can imagine mouton going on to him, but yet i have to say i share mcm's opinion too.

Last week almighty mouton banned my ass off #ioftpd just cuz i expressed my opinion about his iobanana script.
It is (/ was?) default pming harm / mouton all admin changes like adduser etc. We all know people tend to overread config lines especially in a config file that big. So why not make it default NOT pm all admin commands.

Either way its lame to ban people out of #ioftpd just cuz they express their opinion about a script.

All personals should be left out of this forum (except comments directed at me). If you don't like the way someone does something, you should discuss it by using private message/scripter's own forum/e-mail/irc... here such behaviour isn't tolerated - and results to ban as soon as any of moderators notices it; ban will be lifted after person agrees to post public apology.

We rarely have had need to moderate something, bans are even more rare. So this policy might not have been clear to all. I will unlift ban from uprise, and give him few days to post public apology, which should not only be directed to mouton, but to all moderators for misusing the forums.

We're all here to have fun, so let's not spoilt that fun with personal rants.

It should be glowing (mystic, says the packet) blue.. but there's no way to do that color using any program :)

That isn't the only opinion. I'd personally prefer that everything was free, but hello "we're living in capitalist world"; so that isn't realistic option :) Mouton did only what i've advised all moderators to do. No personals (excluding me). Perioid. Everything else, is allowed. This rule is only to protect scripters. And IMHO it's fair. Rather than "why the **** you can't do this?", you should use "isn't this possible?"... just be polite, and others will be polite to you :) (sorry i'm a bit drunk, but still.. i'm sure you understand what i meant)

If you don't have blonde hair, be sure to bleach your hair out before trying to dye it a light color like blue :)

XFERStats.itcl script -i'm very interested in getting that goodie-

If u sent a total of 20e, you probably now have a Professional License, which doesn't give access to Foundation Scripts.

I changed your profile:
u now have a Foundation License, which allows you 2 installation of ioFTPD + access to all script, and I have placed the additionnal 5e in the scripter pool (thank you for the donation btw!)
