I'm running version 5.1.11r, though i had the same prob with 5.1.5r, and 4.9.4u gave me the datachannel in use error for this operation. Target server i tried with ioftpd versions 4.9.4u, 5.1.5r, 5.1.11r and serv-u 4.0. Let me know what other info you need for troubleshooting.

Thanks, Epi

Client error, FlashFXP. Should be fixed in FlashFXP beta 2.2.929 and newer.

Thanks for your help. FlashFXP 2.2 build 926 solves the problem as well.

I'm not 100% sure about that cause bigstar didn't make any change in FXP error handling until version 2.2.929. But if it works.. good. :)

Well I thought i had it fixed, but I'm still having problems, even with FFXP 2.2.929. I get the same 426 Connection timed out error when I try to FXP.

is it between a ioftpd and raiden server?

Same Problem over here with 5.2.10r.

Timeout during fxp-transfer between ioftpd dsl server behind router and gl/openftpd servers using ffxp 2.1 build 932

Im going to test with older ioftpd versions today, maybe this will help...

Grab the latest ffxp beta. Problem is most certainly ffxp related and 2.2.934 should fix that.

Getting that was easy enough, but i can't use it unless I can find a serial for it, which I can't. I'm not paying $25 for something that might work.

Edit: SmartFTP doesn't work either. This is with io 5.2.15 on both servers. I just get this: 426 Connection closed: Connection timed out.

Try alternative mode fxp. It coudl be that one of sites is behind firewall / has badly configured nat (passive mode ports aren't being forwarded). You also might want to check from both sites, that their firewalls aren't blocking the transfer.
