How about implementing SSCN support. Seems very easy, so can't think of a reason not to do it.

theres another accepted method used by glftpd and pftp

and thats the support that will be added not some r* hack

"Seems" easy.. :p I currently have no SSL_Connect routine, which I could use for the purpose. Both CPSV & SSCN will be implemented, once I find time to write one (~200-300 lines of code beyond ones imaginiation)
