How do you start IOftpd

How do you exactly start ioFTPD?
i have tried to run ioFTPD.exe in ../system/

also,

do i have to edit a a line in ioFTPD.ini to make the ../system/ or ../groups/ point to a certain diretory. Ex) to make ../system/ go to c:\ioFTPD\system\

well no you do not need to change any paths as long as you haven't changed the directorystructure.
Your problem is probably that you don't have any certificate installed.
Comment out this line in you ioftpd.ini file, under [FTP_Service] (put a ; in front of it)
;Certificate_Name = blablabla

You think that it is WinME that is the problem?

i couldnt upgrade to teh iogods version, i got teh basic version to run, but i couldnt upgrade to teh iogods version. i just wanted to see teh difference in teh versions, im not trying to pirate the software, im using it as to see what is coming up for ioftpd
