I've seen om some sites running glftpd that they have a script which you could approve uploading of dirnames with.
For example:
you run chan cmd. !approve <blablabla>
or ftp cmd. site approve <blablabla>
Then an announce in chan is made that this release is approved to be uploaded.
Maybe it could work with iOA, so if someone try nuking an approved dir they get stopped by the script.
Then there could be a cmd to list approved uploads. And one for removing approved uploads from the list. Or something like that =P
