Heya d1.

Are you planning on adding X-DUPE support for ioftpd?

More can be found here:

http://www.smartftp.com/Products/SmartFTP/RFC/x-dupe-info.txt

Lots of users use this feature, and ioftpd tends to make it skip the whole queue list when enabled.

Could add X-DUPE functionnalities to ioBanana.

But I would have to be convinced first that it's a useful feature.

I don't see how skipping 5-10 files (~2s) is a problem without X-DUPE.??

Merged 3 threads about x-dupe.

I suggest forum users edit their Default Thread View option to show all threads.

I'd like to have x-dupe functionality too.

It does save time!

But it shouldn't be on top of the priority list either :)

1. Dark already made clear that x-dupe support won't be part of ioftpd. If it appears, it's in script form.

2. I really don't see any use for x-dupe, except to fix ftp clients that can't skip existing files by themselves. And I hardly consider doing a ftpd addon to fix a client bug 'time well spent'.
