hey guys,

i got xp+sp1, ioftpd 4.5.4, ioa 0.7.0, iozs 0.96, dzsbot 0.8.2, sitewho 0.2, newdir 2.0 installed.

problem: everything working for some mins, but from time to time sitewho.exe or ioa.exe crashes, and it only works again when i do a reboot.

ive already spoken to caladan, who programmed e.g. sitewho.exe
he doesnt have a clue why its crashing, so if anybody has same problem as me would be nice posting it here so maybe we could figure out whats wrong.

greetz, canuma

I had the same problem a while back. It is not their programming. I found that if you edit your users in by hand that sometimes it will cause your scripts to fail. I ended up deleting all my users and starting over from scratch. After that everything has been working like a charm.

tjipp,

could be alot of reasons I guess. Some checks you can do
1: not latest ioa.exe. yes 0.7.0 is latest "official" release but it exist newer ones. http://warc.mine.nu/download/ioa.exe always have the latest one. Could be changes needed in conf and so on but it is the latest.
2. Check debuglog for clues
3. What command is it that crashes?
4. Changing in userfiles is a nono if not knowing whats happening
5. If still crashing. let me know how to reproduce it

well iozs crashes sometimes just when i upload new files
(not always)
ioa crashes not always too, but when then only when i use it (eg with wipe cmd)
sitewho crashes really a lot, (not always too, but after some hours/days running 4 sure!) e.g. with site who or !bw cmd

no clue why, xp+sp1 installed

update all, your ioftpd and ioa and try shifting to project-zs instead!
