Need FTP directory checker / notifier

I need a program that will monitor a FTP directory and then notify me hopefully via email that the folder has been updated. The problem is that I need some of the features that flash has such as SSL, Ident, bind that data connection to an ip / port range (connection tab in flashfxp config).

Is there any programs out there that will run as a FTP monitor or is my best bet to try and get that feature added to FlashFXP?

this is actually a feature best left up to the FTP server. Do you have any control over the FTP server? you could always write a script that uses flashfxp to login, check for anything new, and then notify you, but details i can't provide

I have no control over the server.
Ive seen folder checkers before but not with the capabilities of flash.

How do you script flash?

ok so the scripting is very limited

Its not going to do what I need which is check a folder every hour and email notify me if the folder changes.

No, you would have to script outside of FlashFXP to do that, and just use FlashFXP to login and get results.
