my flashfxp works fine going to most sites. but one logs me in okay but then changes the port. I start at 21 in the site manager. but after the login it changes me to a random one with a message like the following:
[R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (65,118,240,78,53,18)
[R] Opening data connection IP: 65.118.240.78 PORT: 13586
then I get the error message:
[R] Data Socket Error: Connection reset by peer
[R] List Error
no listing is given and I am dead in the water. My compatriate is using wsftp light to get in okay, although he says it is slow. Since he get in okay, I am left to believe that the problem is somewhere in flashfxp. I do not see anything in the site manager to address this situation. Does anyone else have any information on addressing this issue?

no fire wall before the problem started occurring, none since. I did do a clean up of a lot of the auto started virus's on my machine. I was able to access it after this cleanup. Anything that I did not recognize or google did not recognize as legitimate I deleted. Everything else seems to be going okay on my machine. Would that affect flashfxp? It does go to other sites okay.
You asked for Flashfxp version and build. Here they are: 3.0.2 build 1045.
It is legitimate. License is [license removed...do not give this out] registered to me, Gordon Lillibridge.
My machine is XP service pack 1 with updates. It runs on TW cable using Roadrunner. I normally use Mozilla Firefox as my browser.
No firewalls or virus stuff run on my machine currently.

looks like that server is misconfigured..
consider disabling PASV mode in site manager and try again
