Hi,
For some reason when selecting files for downloading, all files will successfully transfer, excpet for large ones. Around 3-4gig seems to be a problem.
I am usning NTFS, so it's not a FAT32 issue, and it does not seem to be consistent. For example, the file in my log shown below is a mere 3.07Gb.
I have examined the setting and cannot find anything that seems to relate to this issue. The ftp server I am connecting to does not support passive mode, I disable this. This is the only change I make to any of the default settings.
I have tried this from a separate machine (WinXP laptop) and experienced the same thing. I don't believe the remote ftp server is the problem as I can download the files large and small with NCFTP (for windows) or under FreeBSD.
From Log:
[R] TYPE I
[R] 200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
[R] PORT 196,30,XXX,XXX,5,7 (Edited for privacy reasons)
[R] 200 PORT command successful
[R] RETR mesh-rnp.iso
[R] 550 I can only retrieve regular files
[R] Transfer Failed!
Transfer queue completed
1 File failed to transfer
Any suggestions as to where I should look to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
