I am on a router for home. Connection type: 0
Use passive mode, enable ident, ipconfig reflects router ip: 192.168.1.1

I have removed windows xp2 back to windows xp1. About 85% of files transfer but 2-3 will not transfer.

I have noticed the IP changes.
Good IP that transfers is: [R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (216,32,88,234,213,244)

This one shows up and files fail to transfer: R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (209,67,221,138,195,109).
Hope this helps,
THX

whoa, that's screwed up. Do you recognize that IP address? is it another server of yours? Is that server possibly multi-homed? maybe xp sp2 is trying to deny what could be a hijack attempt?

the fact that you can download/get dir list from main server but not from that other one, means it's misconfigured.
you'll need to contact server admin.

FXP 3.0.2. BUILD 1045
WINDOWS XP SP1 ONLY
USE ROUTER

Well here I go again. When I download a folder certain files in no particular order changes over to a different IP, then files fail.

I have already deleted fxp and dl again with same problem. I have contacted the admin and says the 209 site is NOT his and doesn't belong to anyone in the group. Also there are no empty/bad files. Here is summary of how it goes...hope this help
Please note site ID stays same until #4. Valid site is 216....how do I keep site running without flip flop. This is lengthy but may provide enough info to get fixed:

The FTPD administrator must fix it. This is not a client problem

2 threads merged.

this is NOT flashfxp's problem.
SERVER sends you that "wrong" reply.

FlashFXP send command:
[R] PASV
which means, it's asking server to which ip and port it should connect
then server replies with:
[R] 227 Entering Passive Mode(xx,xx,xx,xx,yy,yy)
which tells FlashFXP that info.

now the fact that you are seeing some strange ip, has nothing to do with flashfxp. you would see this with any ftp client you would use.
you are connecting to DrFTPD server. it is designed to be a distributed server "bridging" multiple servers. that's why you are seeing ip that is not belonging to the original site.
now if you/server admin thinks that is wrong, you'll just have to look into it's configuration.
there is absolutly nothing we can do about it.
