if i'm not mistaken build 924 doesn't properly support files over 2GB in size.
i strongly recommend you upgrade to latest available release. it's much better, and has full support for files over 4gigs

Does your file system support 2+GB files? You need to be using NTFS, FAT32 does not support files larger than 2GB.

Yea am using Win2k and all my drives are NTFS, so am totally clueless why it keeps doing it....

well, actually looking over the error, it seems like it's actually a problem with the server and not your end.
you might want to try resuming that file from another ftp
