Need Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am new to ftp. I have flashfxp at home and at work. I am trying to connect to my home computer to send a 1.5 gig file. I cant seem to connect. I put in the ip address of my home computer but nothing happens. Please help.

You must setup a ftp server @ home b4 you can transfer file/files.

There r alot of ftp server software available , but here is a few examples......
Serv-U (www.serv-u.com)
Gene6 FTP Server (www.gene6ftpserver.com)
GuildFTPd (www.guildftpd.com)

like Barough mentioned, you need ftp SERVER to connect to.
just like you can't connect one Internet Explorer to another Internet Explorer...you need web SERVER to connect to.

I downloaded serv-u at home. Do I set it up for my HOME ip address? I did this already. Now how do I contact my WORK computer? Or do I need to set up the same program at work?

one computer needs to be running a server
other computer needs to be running a client

for specific help with serv-u, you need to contact their support. it's beyond the scope of this forum.
