Keyboard shortcut [space]

Spacebar Toggle Marked items (marked items appear bold)

is there a way to change or disable this?
i like to work with my keyboard and the spacebar is important to select several files then.

BTW... in the FAQ and in the HELP it states: Spacbar (the "e" is missing :P )

Just saw the topic below mine, pre-configured keys cannot be changed :(
By using the spacebar and not letting it be configurable isn't very handy then, how about making it configurable in an update? ;)

nope cause i use the spacebar alot to mark files/dir, which i guess most would use it this way than the way u want :-P

I can't find the original post but there was a bug report in regards to <space> to highlight.. I forget the exact details.. However we decided to completely override <space> and disable selection. Whereas previously it did both highlight/select.

I'm starting to regret this change and after seeing the whole picture I don't think it was a very good idea after all. This will probably be changed in the next release, I'll see what I can do.
