Download grinding to a halt

When I start a download it starts all fine, then after 1-3MB it begins to slow down, quickly halting altogether. All was OK before I upgraded to 3.o (and moved buildinga & ISP's). Other machines with other apps & other OS's all work fine on the new connection.

Oh, there's plenty of HDD space too, tried downloading to different volumes.

I love FlashFXP but when it stops working so do I :(

There's nothing in the ftp session status to indicate a problem.

Are you able to transfer smaller files successfully?

Do you have this problem with other ftp servers?

small files do work, but groups of files fail.
a large file always seems to stop ay 1.31MB transferred.
Other FTP servers do work fine.
Command line FTP from the machine I run FXP also works fine, completing the transfer without error.
