Schedule Uploads

I am need of uploading files to a site that runs on a schedule. So far I can set the schedule to upload a folder and its contents,but I need just the files in the folder I do not want to upload the folder it self, and then the contents of the local folder to be deleted or moved.
can anyone help with this?
