Windows XP restarts unexpectedly or restarts when I use FlashFXP 5

FlashFxp ruined my life , This problem has been for over half year and i don't know what to do, if i want to use FX5 it would restarted my pc randomly and if i want to use the old versions like 4.2 or 4.4 it forces me to update the ******************** tool, if i don't want to update it from 4 to 5 what can i do for?

I disabled the update button but the stupid tool keep forcing me to update it with it crazy webpage warning of www.flashfxp.com (www.flashfxp.com/...randomly), i don't want to see this stupid page. omg.


I even hate myself for purchasing this useless tool. besides I'm on XP SP2.

You should of contacted us via the contact support (https://oss.azurewebsites.net/portal/contact) much sooner, not sure why you waited 6 months to tell us.

Is there any specific reason why you haven't upgraded to Windows XP service pack 3?

I am fairly sure that FlashFXP 5 requires Windows service pack 3 to work correctly on Windows XP.

FlashFXP v4.x and older have reached their end of life (and the openssl library shipped with it contains known security vulnerabilities) and that is why the update check is forcing you to update to the latest version.

Perhaps you can also explain in more details as to what type of situations would trigger your PC to randomly reboot.

Ok, Just sent you an E-mail, hope to solve this annoying issue ASAP. I've explained everything via my email, maybe next update supports XP SP2. So waiting for your response.
