Steps to add a custom file association to view and/or edit a file.
From the main application window, Select Options > File Associations.
Click the New Entry Button on the File Associations dialog.
Enter the file mask (such as *.txt for files with the .txt file extension) and then click the OK button.
Select the program to use to open the file. i.e. c:\windows\notepad.exe
Click the desired boxes to use this program to view and/or edit the file.
Click the OK button.
Click the Save button to finish and save the changes.
