Missing taskbar icon

Flashfxp icon may not appear under certain circumstances to the task bar

Did you enable the new "use static application icon" setting?

Added: new option in Preferences dialog under General > Options > Use single color application icon. When checked, the application icon will always be green, rather then changing colors based on the current program state. (red = offline, orange = connecting, blue = connected, transferring = green)

I have managed to reproduce the issue with "Undo" in the internal editor but I am unable to reproduce the problem with the disappearing icon in the system tray.

Can you please do the following

Locate the FlashFXP.exe on your computer
right-click and select properties from the menu
then click on the Digital Signature tab
Now click on the details button

What is the signing time of the signature?

It should be something like "‎Saturday, ‎March ‎21, ‎2015 08:22:54 PM"

If its older than that then you may have accidentally got an earlier release of build 3820, we're having problems with MaxCDN failing to purge the cache of stale content.

If you've got an older release or unsure you can download the correct exe from this temporary link (https://oss.azurewebsites.net/testr/dev-builds/ffxp5.1.0.3820.zip) (bypassing the cdn)

I just updated a 2nd installation now, I got the same signature

This issue with the tray icon has me quite puzzled.

I am not seeing anything that might explain the problem and thus far I haven't been able to reproduce it.

Is there anything specific that I can try to reproduce it?

I was using flashfxp for more than 30 minutes, copying, renaming & sorting files.
After sometime ftp disconnect me (timeout). I minimized Flashfxp and **boom** no icon

I don't know if the above helps

Have you been able to reproduce the problem?

I am doing some memory corruption and overflow checking, so far nothing found, but maybe there is a specific trigger condition that is causing something not so obvious.

I cant reproduce it; I tried various scenarios but I can't!!!

According to the attached image, FlashFXP state is "idle" so the blue icon should appear.
