Recently, I have the following problem in FlashFXP and this happens quite often:
Data socket error, connection interrupted
File transfer failed: Kerst2013 (54) jpg.
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (181,224,129,12,135,72)
Opening data connection address: 181.224.129.12. Port: 34632
RETR. Kerst2013 (54). Jpg
150 Accepted data connection
150 210.4 bytes to download
226-File successfully transferd
Kerst2013 (54). Jpg is an example
It's not the hosting company because there is nothing to worry about, this I checked there (www.siteground.com)
version:
FlashFXP version: 4.4.3 (build 2029)
Operating System: Windows 8.1 x64
Installation type: All User - Common data folder

Pleas turn on timestamps for the session log.
To do this right-click on the session log window and from the popup menu select "Timestamps"
This must be done first, since this setting is not retroactive.
Then reproduce the problem, when posting the session log it is vital to include some of the lines prior to the actual line where the error occurs roughly 10 lines is a good number.
For your current log I can see that the data socket connection was interrupted but without timestamps its difficult to tell if this was caused immediately or after a certain amount of time.
Also are you using a software firewall, if so what is the name and version?

It was the firewall from Eset Smart Secitury, he was too strong.

Thank you, I will review the log file you attached.
As for the line you marked in bold. this is perfectly normal, FlashFXP is checking to see if the file exists on the ftp server and this reply is indicating that the file does not exist.

The error message I see in your log is "Connection timed out" this indicates that the ftp server failed to respond to the connection attempt request.
This could be caused a problem with the FTP server where perhaps due to some unknown condition it's unable to accept the connection or it could be caused by a firewall or filtering software anywhere in-between blocking the connection attempt.
I don't believe that this problem is caused by FlashFXP.

I thought so.

It was the data link mode settings on flashfxp.
The settings must be on active (Port) and not at global.
wonderful

I have a similar problem, I tried the solution changing to ACTIVE mode and the files are uploading now still some files are not uploaded and it still takes a long time to upload each file and the size of each is only a few kb! I'm pulling my hard trying to upload only 7MB the last 2 days.
I hit allow flashfxp when the window firewall asked, what else should be done?
I tried on 3 different pcs window8 and window 8.1 and all got the same problem.
Update: I borrowed my uncle his machine is window 7 with flashfxp 4.4.1 and had no problem uploading whatsoever.
So it seems the issue is with flashfxp latest version and window 8?
Btw, I have AVG anti virus installed on my window 8.1 machine.
Firewall I just use the default that came with window
Please see the zip file for 2 logs: one is with active mode and one is passive mode by default
Thanks,

Please include the session log. Out of context its difficult to know exactly what might be triggering this error.
Sometimes it is helpful to see your flashfxp configuration, this information is stored in a file named flashfxp.ini, the location of this file can be found from within FlashFXP on the main menu > Help > About >Details tab. If you could send me a private message with your flashfxp.ini attached it, thanks.
