Keyboard Shortcut for "New File"?

Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well.

I'm finding myself using the "New File" function a lot and was wondering if you would consider implementing a keyboard shortcut for its use, perhaps Ctrl+Ins or similar?

I have considered giving this feature a shortcut, unfortunately ctrl+ins is already used.

We could however do ctrl+shift+ins.. I think.
