Hello, When I open FlashFXP, the default directory shown for my computer is my Documents folder, but I have my sites located on my desktop. Is there a way to change the default directory? I've bookmarked my sites, but I'm lazy & I'd like to just have it there waiting for me :). Thanks.

Yes you can: In Site Manager(F4) you can specify a local folder in which flashfxp is going to change to when you connect.
Same applies for remote folder. :)
Like this. Just adding pictures to sweets description.

pretty simple, no?
Enjoy.

Thanks so much! A picture's woth a thousand words :-). It took a number of tries, but I think I have it working. At first I could get one of my sites to work fine, but not the other. It seems that I have to go through Site Manager every time, rather than Quick Connect (F8), but now that I know this it works fine. Thanks for the help!!
Regards,
Jamie
Yes, quick-connect does NOT allow setting local directory, only remote directory, AFAIK.
Perhaps a enhancement request for the future is in order.
Its only one more feature to add to the ALREADY huge wish-list.
Cheers.

You Can also define the start folder in Preferences
Preferences(F6)>General
Either
Use Last working folder (which remember what path locally you had last) or
Select the path you wish to be default everytime (this overrides the previous setting but always gives way to per-site setting you wish).

Thanks so much X3! While it's not hugely important (especially now that it changes automatically when I log in), it's just annoying to see the wrong directory there when I open the program. I guess I was afraid to mess with too many preferences; the website work I do is for free, and I have no actual training. Thanks again!
