Hi again!! :)

An idea I had today and you might like it:

when you configure "Local path" in a bookmark you can set only path.
Using "%userprofile%\desktop" does not seem to work.

This could help when :

* you have sessions among different OS (windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 2008 Server) that have different path for Desktop

* When you upgrade from XP to 7 or when path change.. (change user profile)

This is a great idea..

I will include this change in the next update.

This is very easy to add and I am surprised to see that it didn't already do that. Sometimes the most obvious things aren't so obvious until you go to use it and it doesn't work.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Can you add a few more macros?
For example:
%systemdrive% --> %systemdrive%\users\%username%\Desktop
%username%
??

Thank you

It looks like there is a small flaw in this feature, as it's only allowing a single environmental variable in the path string and this is why it fails. I will correct this in my next update. Thank you.

I am very sorry about that, please try this update. I'm fairly positive everything is now working.

FlashFXP42_1816_Setup.exe (http://down1.opensightsoftware.com/4.2/beta/FlashFXP42_1816_Setup.exe)

I'm really not sure why it's not working in the latest build, can you please confirm that the new build is installed, it should report FlashFXP 4.2.6 (build 1816) in the session status window.

I tested via "Local Path" in the Site Manager, Bookmarks, and the local browser path dropdown box. In each of these instances I used "%systemdrive%\users\%username%\Desktop" and "%allusersprofile%\FlashFXP\4\"

Yes , is installed.

After editing the path and saved worked.
Did you change the way it was saved to the file?

Also an additional behavior that probably should be fixed:
Connect to a site with a local path.
Change local path
Disconnect from site
Press the "thunder" next to the disconnect button
Select the site again
You are not moved to corrett local path....

No, I only changed the logic used for parsing % environment variables.

This is the intended behavior, reconnect takes you back to the previous working directory.

If you wanted to connect back and end up in the profile defined local/remote paths then you need to select the site entry and not the reconnect entry.
