The FlashFXP 4.0.0 build 1548 "Active Edits" dialog box is appearing automatically. I close the dialog boxes when they appear, but the dialog boxes keep appearing.
I am not attempting to edit any files.
Is the automatic appearance of the "Active Edits" dialog box a bug?

Same boring issue here.
In View menu I have unticked the Active Edits options, but it keeps coming and appearing.
It's disturbing.
Thanks!
My OS is WinXP SP3

Hello and thanks for your answer!
I'm running 4.1.0 build 1625 RC1.
The download page offers me 4.1.0 build 1615 Beta.
Better replace?
Thanks!

hello again,
most of the times I focus back to the FlashFXP window.
I switch from/to FlashFXP to Dreamweaver and Chrome.
When I finish modifying in DW, I switch to FFXP (it appears) upload and check the changes in Chrome.
Thanks!

From what you described you're editing the file in DW and then manually uploading it via FlashFXP?
There is no reason for the active edits window to appear in this scenario, it should only activate if you're using the remote edit feature in FlashFXP.
I tested this on Windows XP SP3 and I was unable to reproduce the behavior.
How are you switching between FlashFXP and the other apps, is it alt-tab, the taskbar, etc?
What if you try a different method of switching between apps does this still occur?
Do you have any non-standard task switching apps on your computer?

hello
That's what I do.
I switch with ALT-TAB.
What is the remote edit feature? Sometimes I double-click to edit html files straight from Remote View and it opens in DW.
After editing, I save and switch back th FFXP. Dialog "OK" to store the new version and voilá.
The thing is that when I come back to FFXP that dialog appears "Active Edits".

Perhaps there might just be some confusion with the new remote edit feature.
Remote edit refers to editing a file on a server using an action defined as edit or by selecting edit via the toolbar or context menu. A double-click with the action set to edit is one.
When you perform a remote edit the file is downloaded, and then opened with your editor.
Your configuration in Preferences > General > View and Edit File determines the behavior of remote edits.
By default the active edits window is opened every time you edit a file, the active edits window allows you to manage your remote edits, you can have many concurrent edits at the same time.
FlashFXP can also remember your edit history so that the next time you connect to the server you can open the active edits window and jump right to any of the files that were edited in previous sessions.
What are your settings in this section?

Default action on save: Prompt
Show the active edits window when editing a file (X)
Remember edit history (X)
Seems like I should untick the "Show the active...", right?
Thanks!

based on what you want yes, otherwise it will automatically open each time you edit a file.
