cant connect to site (but can on FileZilla)

hi folks

i have a site which i can connect to using Flash FXP, but i can using FileZilla.

there are no special security features that i am aware of using FileZilla, just plain FTP.
incidentally, i also cant connect to the site with Dreamweaver.

any ideas what this could be?

ok.

Flash FXP 4.0.0 (1548), registered. (but the same issue appeared on 3.6.0 (1240))
Windows 7 x64 (but the same on Xp Pro Sp3)
Windows 7 Firewall (Flash FXP allowed private & public)
Running MSE AV
Internet: ADSL

error i am getting:
[R] 530 User XXXXX cannot log in.
[R] Connection failed

let me know if you need any other info

as i said - this is something consistent - across the board.

Post session log from Filezilla.
and post FULL session log from FlashFXP. 2 lines is not enough to see the full picture.

Session log you posted shows that SERVER refused to let you in. That would happen no matter what client you use. Therefore, if Filezilla works but FlashFXP doesn't, that means these 2 clients have different login information, either ip or port or username or password.
