Hello, PRET support is automatic, the server just has to support it.

I can not recall exactly if PRET is on all the time in FlashFXP or if it expects a PRET reply in the FEAT response. However i think your speed problem (assuming you are talking about transfer speed?) may lay elsewhere. This is because PRET if an feature extention to the FTP protocol used for handling servers that store files in multiple locations (such as distributed storage or server linking), and simply exists to work with clients to provide the correct ip/dataport information for the transfer.

it seems like the pret in flash is not opening enougt string ... because with flash i can reach about 900kbit and with rushftp i can get 2.7mbit .. soo there is a Big different ... and the server i am locking on too i using the pret all the time ... hmm weird stuff ;)

unless you post session log and read https://oss.azurewebsites.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4275 there is not much that can be done.

MTU/Packet size differences maybe? As MxxCon says a session log (infact post rush's log as well for comparison purposes) could be helpful. Although i am doubtful it will reveal much given their is no direct relation between PRET and transfer speeds. On top of posting both sessions logs i would suggest you compare some of the settings (both from within the programs and any ini-only settings) and do a little tweaking if neccersary.
As an afterthough (long shot?) are you running any kind of internet traffic software that may be misconfigured and limiting flashfxp in particular?
