Well i searched the forum for an answer on how to uncap the download of flashfxp but didnt find 1 clear answer. The only thing i found was: change the buffer setting. But the preference panel kinda changed. I was using a much older version before. Im now with that 1:

version 3.6.0 build 1240
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
registered
no router/firewall
no Antivirus
cable connection

Im capped at 220kb/s.

Can someone tell me how to unblock it clearly please?

and how fast is it supposed to be downloading?
are you sure it's not limitation of the site you download from?
have you tried using builtin ftp client?

Windows 7 is network friendly, what this means is that if you're using a media player or voip type program it will throttle other applications running on your computer. I've seen network transfers on my gigabit lan throttled to 30 KB/s when using Winamp at the same time.

There are some references you can read for more information to see if this is whats causing your problem

This may or may not be a factor but its a very good starting point.

When i download a game from steam i get 1.7mo/sec and i get the same speed from firefox when i download from a good website. Same speed when i download a torrent from vuze with many seeders.

I will take a look at those 2 links. Thx

i read and tryed what it says on those links. I didnt notice any changement. Same download speed every where and flashfxp still capped at 220kb/sec.

The problem is really flashfxp, not my OS or connection. So the only way to fix this problem would be by telling me where i can find and set the "Buffer size". Like we were doing in older version of flashfxp.

On windows Vista and Windows 7 adjusting the buffer size isn't as much a factor as it was with previous versions, you can try adjusting the buffer size in FlashFXP and see if it helps but from my own personal experience the amount gained is very minimal and the optimal sizes from my testing were between 64-128 KB over my gigabit network, over the internet I can't tell any improvements, though the wrong size can reduce performance.

go to ftp://ftp1.optonline.net/ and grab some of those test files and post result of the transfer.
if you can, also do that test with windows command line ftp client
