OK this makes no sense....
the other day i was able to connect to my site just fine using ANY version of Flash FXP...
then suddenly...last night I can't connect to my site on my computer. I get "connection denied". All the settings are right.
YET....my fiancé who lives with me can connect np and my friend in the UK can connect np.
I haven't made any changes to anything recently.
suggestions? advice???:confused::confused::confused:
I do a lot of Graphic Design and am in the middle of a massive project that consists of a large amount of graphics and I rely on Flash FXP to get them onto my site....

check your software firewall settings, make sure flashfxp is allowed to communicate.
what is the actual error?

24 hrs ago i wasn't having ANY issues at all Flash FXP then suddenly it doesn't want to connect.
NO settings have been changed in the last 24 hrs.
THIS is what it's giving me:

NO settings have been changed in the past 24 hrs so i dunno why it's doing this to me now.
I've looked at ALL my settings and they're the same as they were 24 hrs ago. NOBODY uses my desktop but me.
I even rolled back to an older version of flash fxp and couldn't connect.

can you connect from command line?
if you can, then you do have some software firewall that is not letting flashfxp to talk outside.
if you can't connect from command line either, then check your router if it has some sort of blocking setup only for your ip.
you claim no settings have been changed, yet you can't connect, therefore something did change otherwise you would've been able to connect like before.

reboot your router. it might be having some glitches..and/or check its config to make sure everything is working the way it's supposed to.

router settings look the same, but i'll reboot it.
honestly...i'd rather go out and buy a damn netgear one. i've had this dlink wbr-2310 for close to 2 yrs now.
