Is there a way to automatically have flashfxp reset all in the queue and restart transfer upon transfer complete? At this point i type - ctrl - a /ctrl -r / ctrl -z and it does it but this often goes days between the opportunity for me to do so. Any suggestions? If i am missing an obvious solution or missed a posted solution in the forums let me know. I saw that a similar request was made in 2005 but no replies.

I understand the basics of command line and windows scheduling.

Thanks.

Ultimately a new feature could be added so that it could be selected from the dropdown menu in scheduling with flashfxp.

Sorry for the Extra Post. What is happening is a site that i download from will hangup and a large number of files will show as failed, eventually i end up with a transfer complete with hundreds of failed transfers. I need to figure out a way to reset the queue and restart it repeatedly until the queue has completed itself. This is a problem i have been dealing with for years and have been manually doing this. I guess i could save the queue and do a windows task schedule to re download the same queue over and over which would in effect solve the problem till the queue changes.

Thanks for any ideas you may have.

did you configure ffxp to retry failed transfers?

Yes, but that doesn't work for this situation as it is a problem with site that i cannot help.

As a temporary fix, i just save the queue as 1.fqf and have the program scheduled to start and stop once every 12 hours. This is not as good as a feature which resets the remaining queue but it works as long as you check on it once in a while and save the queue manually.

Hopefully someday a new feature can be implemented upon completion to retry remaining queue.

I have a few ideas.. I think moving a file to the end of queue on failure is on the top of my list and I think it might work well in your situation. I do have a few concerns though about how the transfer is failing.

Would it be possible to post a copy of your ftp session log showing how the transfers are failing.
