Problem uploading files with russian characters?

Hi!

I was trying to backup my files to my online server today, so I tried to upload the following file

01 Nije Do Mene.mp3 in F:\Music\Željko Joksimović\The Platinum Collection

to the Server using FlashFXP.


Unexpectedly it didn't quite like it:

To get the files successfully uploaded I had to move the files from
F:\Music\Željko Joksimovic
to
F:\Music\Zeljko Joksimovic
which meant it didn't like the Ž in the original file path.

Could anybody kindly shed some light as to what is happening?

I am using the latest beta version of FlashFXP now. I was using the latest stable version of FlashFXP before.

those are not russian characters but probably polish.
what os are you running?

They are actually Cyrillic characters. The language is Serbian. I am running Windows XP. I can see these characters find in XP.

those letters do not exist in cyrillic alphabet.
perhaps slovene alphabet.

Alright. :) So what's stopping FlashFXP uploading these files?
