Have bought a new PC and after installing FlashFXP I was asked to enter the registration code. Intered the code and got the message that the program is now registrered to me and the program will restart in order to confirm the code.

After restarting the program keeps asking me if I want to buy and asking for the code.

What to do?

Hello,

Which version of FlashFXP did you install? What version of Windows?

If you're using Windows Vista make sure the files and folders have the proper permissions. The default v3.4 installation will create files that are only accessible via the administrator account.

This may apply to your situation depending on your configuration.

We just discovered a problem with FlashFXP v3.6 RC1 where if you select a Custom Data Folder in the installer that FlashFXP may incorrectly try to store your registration key in the program folder and fail.

This issue will be resolved in the next RC release.

Hello,

Please download and install the latest 3.6 RC version of FlashFXP through the Customer Portal's download section. You can access the Customer Portal using your registered account which should be the same login as the forums.

Once you do this, go to Help/About and then the details tab within FlashFXP. Note the Program Folder and Data Folder locations and make sure that your user account has full write permissions to both folders. If RC2 or later has been released you only need write permission to the Data Folder (this is the fix Bigstar referenced).

If you still cannot register the software please send an email to support@inicom.net or preferably a contact us form message to support about the issue and include a description of your error and sequence of events. If you do not hear back from us via email please go ahead and PM me.
