New Information:

I can open the ftp site in Windows Explorer, login and see the folders. I cut and pasted the ftp address (including the remote path to one of the folders I have access to) and created a new site in the Site Manager. Now when I log on using FlashFXP, I am logged into that specific folder. So it seems I am past the Root Dirctory some how (this is what is indicated in the log window in the bottom of FlashFXP). I may have a display or viewing issue as I cannot see the directory structure or any files; only the "parent" icon with the up arrow.

Is there a reason why I can view the structure and files using Windows Explorer and not FlashFXP?

Original Post:
Hi, I downloaded an evaluation copy of FlashFXP; it looks great but I am having a problem logging into an ftp site I visit regularly. Usually, I access the ftp site using Internet Explorer (this gets me to the root directory of the ftp site); then I choose "open page in Windows Explorer" which opens the Root Directory page in Windows Explorer. I then choose "Login As" from the pull down in Windows Explorer, type my login name and password and then I'm logged into my specific area of the ftp site.

With Flash FXP, I cant seem to get past the Root level directory. In the site manager, I listed the ftp address, my login name and password - I just can't get to my specific area. Any suggestions?

Once I realized this was a viewing problem, I went to Options, Preferences, Connections, Proxy, and unchecked "use passive mode". I can now view the file structure.
