ftping from macintosh to PC

is it possible to ftp from a macintosh to a PC? Also I only have dial up internet, do they make a cross over cable for dial up or just for high speed?

Thanks for your reply, I used a cross over cable from my xbox to pc, assumed this what I would use for mac to PC, how else is there for copying files from mac to PC? thanks again
