Hi everyone!
can anyone tell me if FlashFXP will allow me to take some sort of a "snap shot" of an ftp site (the folder structure and/or file structure) so i can distribute it to my clients?
this would be very helpful!

just download whatever files/folders you need and give them to your clients
unless i'm missing something...?

basically i want my customers to create snap shots of an location of the FTP site.... like a classic ASCII style tree structure (the client would have to recursively go round the directory of the site obviously)
This is a requirement by my client and to save me time and effort writing a small FTP application to do this, i wondered if FlashFXP (without kissing a$$ is one of the best FTP client apps ive used in a long time!) would do this job for me?
summet like this:
cache.txt:
-----todays date----
.SITE ROOT
>-src
>-bin
|- testbuild01
|- testbuild02
|- data.dat
|- resoures.resx
you get the idea?

just to clear up because it seems to have removed the tabbing i put on hehe
i want to give my clients a "snap shot" of the current structure of the FTP site, not give them access to the site directly....

so you want just text file consisting of file list from each?
if so, you can do 'Find Files on Server' from FTP menu and search for *
it'll output you everything, then select all files and then copy url (ctrl-u). just paste it into a text file or even MSExcel and format it however you want
