It looks like the Russian Translation is currently being worked on by Nazaret2005. If you wish to collaborate, please contact them directly. It is marked as being 90% complete, so we will not publish it live until it is 100%. If it is not finished within a week, I will transfer the language to you, and you can upload your completed translation.

Well, I shall wait week, to cooperate with Nazaret2005 I do not see sense. I am for a long time engaged in translation of programs into Russian and I carry out it quickly and qualitatively. Nazaret2005 irresponsibly concerns to translation, he very long carries out translation. I think, you represent, how long it is necessary to wait from Nazaret2005 in the further for updating of translation?

Thanks.

I wanted to support Kinno and request to transfer him the Russian language file.

I know nothing anout Nazareth2005, but I know a lot about Kiino.
He is the best variant for translator of FlashFXP.

Best for all Russian speaking users of FlashFXP.
This is the best way for promoting FlashFXP into Russia.

Thx

Kinno – One of most known of the authors of localizations in Russia!
I very much advise to the authors of the program FlashFXP to have with it(him) business. His(its) jobs differ by high translation quality!

This is not interesting...:)
I know Kinno some years, I know his works... Believe, there are forums where I have more than one post ;). I know also a situation with Russian translation. I observe for it already more than month, visiting your forum. I wish to tell, that business has not moved even on inch during this time. I is assured, it is very bad for sales FlashFXP in Russia!

So... Knowing Kinno, knowing that Kinno has full Russian translation, I have visit on your forum what to express the my opinion and to support the friend.
It is forbidden?

PS. WOW!!! I have already more than one post! :D

PPS. Sorry! My English is very-very-very bad...

interesting that everyone who "supports" Kinno has a SINGLE post......seems like Kinno is from http://msilab.net/ more specificly http://kinno.msilab.net/
they translate alot of soft into russian (and illegally sell it too http://msilab.net/?page=2)
so all these people are probably coming from that forum
on the other hand, Nazaret2005 last visited forum in May...:( so if he's not active on this forum, maybe somebody else should do russian translation

It's stupid to wait person who are inactive for a long period of time and we know nothing about him.

Why we are interested in his translation???
I wanted to support Kinno's translation.
Administrators, make the right choose.
Kinno - is the best translator for FlashFXP.

Dear authors, you have hastened to spread translation in public access. I already wrote to Chris, that you have a mistake at translation from *.sib in *.elg. The part of strings remains in English, in the menu ‘Options/Preferences (F6)’ and as the length of some strings in Russian is more than in English and they do not find room in dialogue windows. Please, solve this problem.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Kinno

In English have remained strings in Files Explorer and in a Status Window. And why in dialogue ‘About’ it is written: Language Translation: Charles DeWeese?

Dear Kinno,

That some strings are longer in other languages is a thing that Bigstar allready tried to solve as much as possible. When i translated to my language i spoke alot with Bigstar about it, and he tried to make as much space available as possible (and to be honest, i don't think there can be much trouble in most cases to make it fit). Perhaps you can make a screenshot if something is really too small for Russian. About the 'About' dialogue, there is a string somewhere where you can put your own name.

it seems like in site manager there are a few strings that don't fit..on general tab translated "username" doesn't fit. on options tab translated 'disable force active mode...' doesn't fit. on ssl tab 'secure fxp' and 'turn off fingerprint...' don't fit. also because tab names are longer, it caused them to wrap to 2 lines, which in turn caused 'server certificate' buttons on ssl tab to be slightly cut off.

on preference, Transfers, 'filename conversion' doesn't fit.
Display, 'local sort by' doesn't fit.
Colors&Fonts, 'existing process' doesn't fit, but i think we can be differently worded so it would fit. same with 'queue completed text'.

on File Exist Rules, 'wait ... seconds then overwrite' doesn't fit.
Filters, Skip List, 'skip list applies to directories' doesn't fit.

that's pretty much it from what i noticed.
however, for some reason some text appear as it should and some as extended ascii characters, seems like different font is in use.

That is quite alot really :|. I think in my translation there are only 2-3 things that don't fit nicely (and they are in not-that-obvious-places as well). Perhaps Russian is even worse than Dutch when it comes to language efficiency ;). And yes, Russian has indeed another alphabet than the Western languages.

"also because tab names are longer, it caused them to wrap to 2 lines, which in turn caused 'server certificate' buttons on ssl tab to be slightly cut off."

I saw that one too (happens in Dutch too) but that couldn't be changed unfortunately.
