Any progress? I'd love to be able to keep my FlashFXP with me wherever I go :)

README for FlashFXP_34_Portable.u3p

FlashFXP v3.4.0 Portable (U3 USB Drives)

FlashFXP v3.4.0 Portable is for use with U3 capable USB drives. FlashFXP is already easy to copy to a USB drive for portable use, but this installation package makes it even easier for people with U3 USB drives. While this package contains the latest stable version of FlashFXP v3.4, U3 USB support is new, and any suggestions are welcome.

Hey hey,

Is there a way to unpack and repack the latest beta build for the U3 portable version?

sure...just rename u3p to .zip, throw in your latest or favorite build, and save..then rename back to u3p

Thats just crazy! And why didn't i think it first. :dizzy:

And thank you Linkster!

While on the subject. Some IDE applications can integrate an external FTP application.
Any sugestions on how to integrate the U3 version of flash as i dont see a .exe on the stick.

Hi,

I have one question about the portable version
I read somewhere that the flashfxp.key is generated by hardware so when I would use FlashFXP on my U3 key the hardware wouldn't match anymore as the driveletter probably changed when using another system and PC hardware also changed..
Has this been modified in the U3 version fo the program or how is (or will this be) solved?

thanks in advance for your time.
