I baught FlashFXP in Dez. last year. Since the beginning I had little problems with transfer. Lately it became realy bad - it downloads for app. 30sec and than it stops, reconnects, downloads for app. 30sec, than again stops... like this it goes for 10 times - than I get error message: too many connections on server! and it wont connect anymore.

Here is what I have

* FlashFXP v[3].[4.0], build [1145], [x]registered, [ ]unregistered, [ ]pirated
* OS [x] WinXP, [ ] Win2K, [ ] Win98, [ ] WinME, [ ] Other
* Running behind NAT/router [x] Yes & Model [Zyxcel 652 HW-I], [ ] No, [ ] Not sure
* Running firewall [X] Yes, Name [Windows], Ver. [ ], or [ ] No
* Running Antivirus [X] Yes, Name [Kaspersky 6] or [ ] No
* Network [X] xDSL, [ ] CABLE, [ ] Dail-Up, [ ] Other

Please note that for testing I closed all software antivirus & firewall programms... Do I need to add something to the NAT/FIREWALL (Zyxcel 652 HW-I)?

Thank you for quick help.

Kind regards
Caitanya

try to temporary connect w/o your zyxel firewall and see if that makes a difference
do you ahve 'send noop during transfer' enabled?

i can not disconnect the zyxcel since it is DSL modem and router in one... without DLS modem i can not access internet...

but i clicked on this "noop during transfer" and it seems to work with files smaller than 400kb... as soon as a file is over 400kb it stops again... at 410kb

Thank you again

if I upload big files i get this error message:

[R] 150 Connecting to port 13544
[R] 421 Timeout (no new data for 900 seconds)
[R] Transfer Failed!
[R] Connection lost: consulting
[R] Attempting to Reconnect.

I have again a strange problem... I can not upload or download any bigger files. I get this message:

[R] 421 Timeout (no new data for 900 seconds)
[R] Transfer Failed!

Strange is that this message comes just after 20 seconds and not 900... Strange is also that whith an old version of wsftpLE it is working normaly :confused:

what could be the problem here...

my infos:

* FlashFXP v[3].[4.0], build [1145], [x]registered, [ ]unregistered, [ ]pirated
* OS [x] WinXP, [ ] Win2K, [ ] Win98, [ ] WinME, [ ] Other
* Running behind NAT/router [x] Yes & Model [Zyxcel 652 HW-I], [ ] No, [ ] Not sure
* Running firewall [X] Yes, Name [Windows], Ver. [ ], or [ ] No
* Running Antivirus [X] Yes, Name [Kaspersky 6] or [ ] No
* Network [X] xDSL, [ ] CABLE, [ ] Dail-Up, [ ] Other

thank you

email support at inicom
if you want better help from them, you should provide timestamped session log, and not the same 5 error lines. they will need to see alot more of session log that happened before those errors.

and please don't go around the forum in every single thread you find shouting help help help. it won't get you help any faster and will needlessly annoying forum administrators.
