View Full Version : Uploading multiple files AT ONCE?

Hi all,

I am currently using FlashFXP 3.2 Build 1080 for uploading lots and lots of small html files to our company's FTP, great program in my opinion, but with a small but annoying flaw:

Isn't it possible to upload multiple files at once? The queue works nice and all but when uploading files at the size of .htm or .html which are usually not bigger than 10kb our upload bandwidth isn't working at full load even once = big waste of time

Uploading like 3+ files at once would double the efficiency, if not even more.

Looking forward to any helpful tips :)

currently flashfxp can't do that.
open 3 instances of flashfxp, properly setup "if file exist" rule and start transfering. you'll achieve same result.
or better yet, compress those localy, upload a single compressed file and unpack it remotely.

That sounds like a nice workaround, thanks!

Are there plans to add this feature in future versions?

[edit] I just checked the "File Exists Rules" and I really miss the "If file is newer then..." option :(, sadly those 3 options don't help in my case.

configure 'file exist' settings to skip all files so that one instance of flashfxp won't try to resume/overwrite file that's being uploaded by another instance.
