* FlashFXP v3.2.0, build 1080, unregistered
* OS WinXP
* Running behind NAT/router [X] Yes & Model [Siemens SX541 ]
* Running firewall [X] Yes (Router)
* Running Antivirus [X] Yes, Name [ FreeAV]
* Network [X] xDSL
i am quite new to ftp, routers and so on ... read a lot but finally i got stuck :(
Ok then ... i made it possible to flash on a ftp-server located on my own pc (i dont know why, but fxping is faster than downloading)
but its not possible for me to fxp to a friend of mine.
in my opinion important flashfxp-settings:
connection:
limit local port range to 1024 - 2048
force active mode ... mydns.dyndns.org
use this ip only ... checked
Server transferring from:
FTP-Server glftdp
options: use stat -l checked, all the others are default.
Server transferring to:
G6, version i dont know
FlashFXP-Settings: default settings
What happens:
[R] PROT C
[R] 200 Protection set to Clear
[R] PASV
[R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (IP,Transferring,From,221,17)
[L] PORT IP,Transferring,From,221,17
and here transfer "stops"... i dont know exactly what happens, but it seems as if my router crashs (i need to reset it)
i made some changes on the flashfxp transferring to:
Advanced:
Alternativ Site to Site method, both checked
[L] TYPE I
[L] 200 Type set to I.
[R] TYPE I
[R] 200 Type set to I.
[L] PROT C
[L] 200 Protection set to Clear
[R] PASV
[R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (friends,ip,250,153).
[L] PORT friends,ip,195,53,250,153
[L] 200 PORT command successful.
[R] STOR testfile.txt
[L] RETR testfile.txt
[L] 425 Can't build data connection: No route to host.
Any idea how its possible that the route gets lost at the beginning of the transfer ?!
generally any idea ?! :D
Edit: sorry i dont know if its possible to transfer to some1 else exept to myself ^^
Edit2 : its not a matter of the router firewall as the problems remain the same if the firewall is switched off
