As suggested here by spectra: http://www.inicom.net/forum/showthread.php?t=5839
Hi,
I mainly use FlashFXP for uploading files to my webspace.
There already is a function for copying the FTP URL of the selected file. What would be cool, is a possibility to let me enter the related http url of the webspace I'm using, to also copy the http url of a selected file.
Example:
I'm uploading to ftp.foo.com. In the properties of the site entry, I would enter http://www.foo.com to the field, let's say, 'HTTP destination' (or so?). Now, when I select a file and press ctrl+u, it'ld still copy ftp://ftp.foo.com/bar.htm. When I press ctrl+shift+u, it'ld put http://www.foo.com/bar.htm into clipboard.
Would make some things easier
Thanks.
Is there ANY way of doing this? I'm not suggesting it be implemented since it was probably overlooked because it's not a pressing feature to add, but I am asking if it would be possible by way of some script or command. It would be a great help to me and I bet quite a few other people that don't just use the FTP side of things, but also need to be able to copy one or multiple HTTP URLs for webdesign or to show in forums or to friends.
The reason I did not put this under scripts is because I have no idea if this would even be possible using a script.
Thanks for any feedback. :)
