It's not that hard, but there's a real lack of details in your first post. You could explain where such script would be useful, how you would like to set the expiration date, if it would be linked to something else, etc. The only thing I can think of is a company hosting websites/shells.

PS: forums aint a realtime support medium. You should wait a couple of days before bumping your thread like that. Bumping threads without adding anything to it (by definition) is usually seen as a very bad habit.

We want to put an expiration date to our clientes, like:
"today is 6/8/2005, we create an account to expire in one month, 7/8/2005" and that account will be blocked in that day.

Actually, it's almost ready. I only have to finish the tests and improve the messages sent to the users. Also I'm having troubles with my internet connection at the moment so I'm not sure I'll be able to upload it before a few days.

it's a really good idea if you only want someone to be able to access your FTP from a given amount of time [like a trial account]

if someone is making a script for it give an option to either disable the account or delete it. making or remaking accounts can be such a pain in the ass. [especially changing options on the account; flags, roup, max simultaneous logins, wtc]

Bah, I completely forgot this one :|. I doubt I've changed many things since my last post. I've chosen to deny login to the expired accounts instead of deleting them. It will log informations about the accounts to Error.log and SysOp.log.

I'm not home and thus won't have access to my test server in the next few months. Would you mind testing it for me if I complete it tomorrow ?

PS: Don't hesitate to send a private message to remind me of something if it looks like I forgot it. I tend to suffer from memory corruption ;) (please don't take that as a reason to spam me).
