Hello,

I'm attempting to transfer files from one web host to another...it's not going so well.

I connect successfully and use the handy Syncronize Browsing option. I've toyed with toggling passive transfers, but I do not get directory listings without it enabled.

Can you see a problem...or point me to whichever FAQ I should be reading about this?

Thanks!

It took me a moment to find what you were talking about since I wasn't using Quick Connect.

[18:55:23] [L] 500 I won't open a connection to [new server ip] (only to [home ip])

I found some FAQ that refer to the option you named. Based upon what I'm seeing there it sounds like I'll not be using FXP after all. :-(

Thanks for your time.

Most webhosts are restricted or simply not setup to allow site to site transfers. This is usually by design and the intended behavior.
