Hello!
I run Suse 9.3 with Wine. I would like to use, and not only to run, FlashFXP on Wine or WineX.
I read many about this. I give youu a briefing:
- FlashFXP 2.0 and 2.1 works under Wine (but I cannot "double-click")
- FlashFXP 3.x dont run under Wine because of virtual listing but it should run on Cedega (WineX)
If you get FFXP 2.x or 3.x running on a system working(!) pls tell me the exact builds of wine(x), linux, and ffxp and your config changes (perhabs you have an tutorial).
Thanks, Kai :)

FlashFXP v3.2 should work almost fairly well under Cedega (WineX), the only major issue I have seen is some compatiblity issues with OpenSSL. This issue prevents you from connecting to a site using SSL/TLS. I tried very hard to make FlashFXP compatible but there's only so much I can do.

I tested Cedega under Simply Mepis (Debian) and the remote listing appears.
I just tested the latest flashfxp beta with multi-language support and it doesn't seem to work at all. It locks up on startup :( That was very unexpected.

The problem was @ 1.44, 2.0, 2.1 and 3.2.
I cannot see right folder names in local view. There are all folders. But they all have the same name "G" and I cannot change to them.

I recommend you go to the customer portal and update your username to something other than your email address :)

I've tried using the latest FlashFXP 3.2 using both Wine (20050310) and Cedega (4.4-1) and whenever I enter my regcode, when FlashFXP restarts I get an Error #83. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

This shouldn't happen. I messed around with wine quite abit and never had that problem. Also, the latest beta's seem to run just fine (doesn't crash on startup), only the ssl/listing problems are still there unfortunately.

What is WIneX and will FLashFXP v3.2 latest work 100%? I have a few problems with FlashFXP v3.2 in Fedora Core 5 and latest Wine I installed. I guess I should try WIneX . Can I install WIneX with Wine already installed?
Thanks

WineX is an old name for Cedega.
