changelog incomplete?

I was searching to find a searchlog of 5.8.0 and 5.8.5
What the diffrences where.
I also ioftpd-advanced pop up in some messages.
I don't know if this is related to older versions...
But i really want to know what changed on the ioFTPD.ini
I know the line of the message window was introduced but i can't find anything where this was standing or an ini from it.

There was a user maintained upgrade thread on teh old forums, seems to have dissapeared in the merger, would be cool if it could be found and added to the knowledgebase.
I seem to remember 5.8.0 - 5.8.5 was an exe only upgrade, but its a long time ago so could be wrong :/

There's a more up-to-date change log included with every full distribution of ioFTPD. It highlights the most of the changes between major versions (5.0, 4.0, etc.) and minor versions (5.8, 5.7 etc.).

The changes between patch levels (5.8.4, 5.8.5) are mostly small bug fixes, so they're not mentioned.

well i think that from the message window is a big change and there is no info on it in hte forum i can remember that something with file_id_iz was added too...

message window?! file_id.diz?! you can be sure that ioFTPD has never had any internal file_id.diz routings, and message window?! are you sure you arent talking about something else now?
